Cursor Trail

Images are spaced by distance, not by time, so the trail reads the same at any speed. Each one drifts in the direction of movement and fades out, and a few keep appearing while the cursor rests.

An optional ambient chord reacts to speed. Sound stays off until the toggle is pressed. Works with touch, and with reduced motion the images appear without rotation or drift. In Webflow the trail images can come from a CMS collection.
